Can a man stop his wife from performing Hajj?

Short Answer

If she has not performed her obligated Hajj then he cannot stop her from going. However, it is better that she try to convince him.

What the Scholars Said

Imam Ibn Abidin said: If you have already performed your obligated Hajj then he can prevent you. (Radd ul-Muhtar 3:465)
